The Shahada is the Islamic declaration of faith and the first of the Five Pillars of Islam. It is a statement affirming belief in the oneness of Allah Subhana wa ta la and the prophethood of Muhammad عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ. By reciting the Shahada sincerely, a person becomes a Muslim!
